This is my first book of the year even though I have started it.

Have you signed up on  Shelia's blog to join in the fun for
"How long will we be gone?" my sister Maria asks.

"Awhile," I answer.

"Two months? Six months? A Year? Two?"

"Quiet."  I nudge her forward, my gaze darting around the departure area of Rancho-Boyeros Airport to see if anyone has overheard her question."

 Question of the Week:

What character or characters would you not mind sharing a New Year’s kiss with? (submitted by Kitty @ Vicarious Bookworm)

My Answer:

Hmmmm...since I don't read romance, I really can't think of anyone I would like to share a New Year's kiss with.

Oh wait...Rhett Butler will do. :)

He's the best I can do friends.  :)
